Behold, the first wave of Disney Mobile smartphones to be released in the Philippines by Globe Telecom.

Globe Telecom is now bringing the magic and the wonderful world of Disney to trendy and even techie kids and kids at heart as it is set to release Disney Mobile smartphones in the Philippines - a first in the Southeast Asian region - through Globe's budget-friendly myStarter postpaid plan.


Disney Mobile smartphones are perfectly themed according to popular Disney franchises - from the home button, wallpapers, and even ringtones. These smartphones will also have an interesting range of Disney apps, games and e-books. The first themes that will be available in our local shores are Mickey Mouse (silver), Disney Princess (pink) and Frozen (blue).

These smartphones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and are powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. They also have 5-inch high-definition capacitive multitouch display, 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front cameras, and 4G LTE connectivity for faster internet speeds.

They will be available on Globe myStarter Plan 500 with an additional Php250 monthly cashout. The postpaid plan will carry unlimited calls and texts to Globe and TM subscribers, 300 texts to all networks, 200 MB of mobile data, free Facebook and Viber, and Spotify Basic subscription with 1 GB of data for music streaming.
