The Best of Philippine Movies Truly Belongs to ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN Corporation, the largest media and entertainment company in the Philippines today, has been keen in bringing the best and the finest of the local movie scene through the years to Filipino and global audiences on different platforms, whether they are on television or on their computers and mobile devices. That commitment has been further proven when it renewed its partnership last month with Viva Entertainment and Regal Entertainment, earning the company the rights to broadcast their movies on free and pay TV, ABS-CBN Mobile and The Filipino Channel (TFC).

The addition of Regal and Viva movies to its slueth of world-class and blockbuster Filipino mainstream films which also include hit titles from Seiko Films, RVQ Productions and FPJ Productions now makes the number one television station in the Philippines as the true home of the biggest and widest film libraries in the country. For both Regal and Viva, their strong partnership with the Kapamilya network has been legit through the years since they were born and it seems that it will continue to become stronger in the coming years.

Heneral Luna on ABS-CBN

Another addition to the company's wide sleuth of Filipino movies is Artikulo Uno Productions' Heneral Luna which is slated to be aired soon on ABS-CBN. Heneral Luna was one of the biggest surprise movies of last year, earning box-office sales of more than Php250 million making it the most successful Filipino historical movie of all time so far, and I think that the movie's producer made the right choice of making the movie accessible to a wider and broader audience considering that it entrusted the film to the country's largest network.

With that said, ABS-CBN Corporation will continue to champion and uphold Philippine cinema with a bigger and stronger lineup of the best and the finest Filipino films delivered to millions of viewers in the country and around the world.
