MyPhone, Asus Join Transition Anew

While the Philippines continues to make preparations for its transition of millions of television broadcasts across the nation from old analog to digital which as part of the country's nation to become a digital one in 2020, it seems that local mobile phone brands are starting to follow Starmobile's formula in incorporating a digital mobile TV feature on some of its flagship smartphones giving consumers and smartphone users the privilege to have a little taste of the benefits that digital terrestrial television could offer for those who want to clearer and worry-free viewing of their favorite TV shows anytime, anywhere.

MyPhone DTV Series 2016
Introducing the MyPhone My81 and My85, both featured with mobile digital TV!!
Fresh from endorsing former Davao City mayor and presuming Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte prior to the recently-concluded national elections, local mobile phone brand MyPhone has recently announced that it will release two new smartphones both equipped with a digital TV feature that would allow consumers and mobile subscribers to watch their favorite TV shows clearly on-the-go, namely the MyPhone My85 and its smaller brother My81. I can say that the MyPhone 85 is the most interesting of the two because of its longer 2500 mAh battery, 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 GB internal storage and the fact that it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, I would not be surprised that the My81 is more affordable than the former, but I would let you decide on which of these quad core smartphones would you consider buying for your entertaining pleasure.

Asus Zenfone Go TV
Behold, the Asus Zenfone Go TV!!
Also joining the transition to digital television not only in the Philippines, but also worldwide as well is Taiwanese multinational company Asus with the silent launch of the Zenfone Go TV, a smartphone with a universal digital television chip made by Sony that supports any digital television standard depending on what country are you from. When you're talking about specs, then the Zenfone Go TV should not be belittled because of those such as Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that can protect its 5.5-inch HD TFT display, f/2.0 aperture lens on both front and rear cameras, 3010 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, and let's not forget what makes Asus Zenfone intriguing - the Zen interface. I'm not sure when it will become available in our local shores, but this is something that you should watch out for.

As I said that the new technology will provide everybody the privilege to enjoy their favorite TV shows at home or on-the-go without any worries and concerns about the reception, I can say that the trend will continue as long as there are mobile brands like Starmobile, MyPhone and even Asus that are willing to provide solutions for the benefit of its customers, and that is all that matters.
