Starting today, I would compile some of the best and most intriguing articles from the World Wide Web and put them in short detail since there are too many that I can choose from. And I think we should start with video game publisher and developer Capcom's sentiments on Street Fighter V.
When Street Fighter V was released a few months ago, it was already heavily criticized by gaming communities due to server problems in multiplayer mode and offline mode without an arcade mode that is the bread and butter of every Street Fighter game. Well, Capcom chief executive officer Kenzo Tsujimoto admitted that the game's launch was very rocky and promised that it will never happen in future releases. I'm sure that Capcom would heed to the criticism of Street Fighter fans as it is planning to make improvements on the game. Let's hope for the best that the new update will include an arcade mode that many gamers deserve to enjoy.
In the Philippines, Robinsons Supermarket has recently launched an online service where customers can purchase goods online following its partnership with HappyFresh Philippines for a grocery delivery service. For now, it is initially available for customers living in Metro Manila, but it is slated to be expanded across different parts of the country in the coming months. This will complement the brand's offline business which promises to become a new and fulfilling shopping experience to Filipino consumers.
On the other hand, the Angry Birds Movie has gone off to a refreshing start not just in Philippine cinemas, but also in other international markets. The popular mobile video game-turned-motion picture has posted an outstanding opening weekend gross of Php39.5 million exceeding that of popular animated blockbusters such as Rio, The LEGO Movie, How to Train your Dragon, Zootopia, and even The Peanuts Movie. Overall, the movie has grossed a whopping US$43 million gross in worldwide box-office sales, knocking off Captain America: Civil War on the top spot in many markets. The movie is slated to be shown in other Asian countries such as South Korea, China and Japan. Well, these are just some of my bytes and there will be more in the coming days, so watch out for them.
