Mighty No. 9 Not Beyond Expectations?

Last week marked the highly-anticipated launch of the crowdfunded action platformer Mighty No. 9 which was eventually witnessed by many gaming enthusiasts and especially retro gaming fans considering that the game is the spiritual successor of the Mega Man series in both gameplay and character design. But, game critics and supporters have expressed their disappointment over the game after multiple delays and communication problems over its release. And by the looks of it, the problem of the matter is the game seeing that it is not beyond what gamers want for the game that feels like a Mega Man game.

Maybe the only way to find out about why Mighty No. 9 is not beyond expectations of those waiting for the game to come out is to watch this video below and see what is wrong with the game.

I would pray that the upcoming movie or television adaptation of this game would be as jaw-dropping and successfully intriguing than the game just like Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay for the original Xbox. If not, well then, I should just say sorry about their damn luck. What matters is that if Mega Man fans want to stick into their own gut feeling and try this game no matter what the consequences ahead of them, then don't stop and believe.
