Android N Is Not Nutella

Android 7.0 Nougat

Google has officially announced the new name for the next version of its Android operating system, but it is not what the online world has expected. It will be officially known as Android 7.0 Nougat and not Nutella. For those who are not familiar with the name Nougat, it is a type of sweets originated in the Europe and the Middle East that is made up of honey and nuts. The new operating system will have improvements from its previous version Marshmallow, including the addition of a dual screen feature. Android 7.0 will be available in all Google Nexus and Android One devices beginning in fall.

Gunbound Philippines Reborn

Softnyx's online turn-based strategy shooting game Gunbound has already made its return to our local shores last week through its first major beta release "Gunbound-PH Thor Hammer". The popular Worms-like ballistic-based MMO (massively multiplayer online) game became dormant for about seven years since the game shut down its servers back in 2009. The return is still in beta mode and fans of the game can expect more updates in due time. For more information, visit its official website here.

ABS-CBN Rules and Conquers

More Filipino viewers tuned in to ABS-CBN for the historic inauguration of Rodrigo Duterte and Leni Robredo as the President and Vice-President of the Republic of the Philippines respectively as its inauguration day coverage became the number one daytime show in the country last June 30, 2016 scoring a national TV rating of 18.8% which is about five points higher than its rival network's similar coverage of its own. Following its ongoing success in the ratings war, ABS-CBN became the recipient of the Platinum Trusted Brand Award which is the highest honor given to a brand at the annual Reader's Choice Trusted Brand Awards 2016 proving that the network remains the Filipinos' preferred choice for news, information and entertainment that simply suits its tagline "In The Service of the Filipino Worldwide".

That ends this edition of TrubeBytes, I leave you now with a video review of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for the Nintendo 3DS, a futuristic Fire Emblem game mixed with elements from the Shin Megami Tensei fame that fits the statement "You are born to be a star."
