Windows 10 After July 29, 2016

Windows 10

Since its launch just about a year ago, Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system has become one of the fastest-rising innovations in the company's long history where it has been installed or upgraded from the previous Windows operating system in more than 350 million devices owned around the world as of last month. Contributing to the outpouring success of the latest version of the popular PC and mobile operating system is the capability of PC users to upgrade their devices to the said version without any charges. But, this will all change after July 29, 2016 which is exactly the first year anniversary of Windows 10.

Microsoft has announced a big upgrade to Windows 10 which will feature an improvement on some of its features. Coinciding with the official release of the system's "anniversary update" is the shocking and surprising announcement that Microsoft will officially and permanently turn off its free upgrade offer for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users on the 1st year anniversary of the version. This would mean that those who want to upgrade from their previous version to Windows 10 must make the shift or else they will have to charge very big for the said upgrading after July 29th, which the Home Version is set to be priced at US$399 or Php18,000 that is a big blow to anyone's budget.

The anniversary update will cater not only PC gamers, but also those who have purchased or owned the Xbox One console, as it will feature Xbox Play Anywhere where you could be able to play a digitally-purchased game on both the Xbox One and the PC. Upcoming games that will be compatible for the said feature include Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 2 among others. In fact, the new Windows 10 update is required to enable the new feature on their computers.

So, if you have enough guts and time to decide on upgrading your PC, then do it now before July 29, 2016!!
